PETALING JAYA, Nov 26 — Popular singer-actress Elizabeth Tan suffers from the auto-immune illness alopecia, which has prompted her to have a low sense of confidence.
“I have had auto immune issues since I was a year old which caused me to have skin problems,” she instructed Media Hiburan.
“I developed alopecia in 2018, causing me to have bald patches, which would sometimes become bigger.”
She stated she saved her sickness from the general public as a result of she didn’t need individuals symphatising for her.
“I feel sad and pressured every time a new bald patch appears. There is no cure and it also causes eyebrows and eyelashes to drop.”
She added that she had turned down a job just lately as it might require her to have quick hair, leading to her hair being gradual to develop again and her alopecia to flare up.
